Organic growth in an authentic community

Following the devastating recession, automotive bailouts, and crippling economy, Detroit had a chance to reconsider its purpose to the world. Like many major cities experiencing change, the catalyst is always art—and the artists that live there (or visit) to make it.

The immense growth in the Detroit Art community brought new life to the city that has manifested in new and growing small businesses, big businesses with belief in the culture, and culinary craftsmanship that makes Detroit an underdog to cheer for and a sought out destination for creatives.

A Creative Class Emerges

Detroit’s community of artists, designers, musicians, tech start ups and innovators make for an eclectic mix of people laying the foundation of what Detroit is and will become. Our influence reaches beyond the city, and with many curious about Detroit, the people creating opportunities and shaping the future, now is the time to invest in fresh ideas and limitless possibilities.
